Definitely don’t remember reading this book in 2020 at all … like at all.

Can’t believe the series is over (for now???) and everything in the world is awful so I’m reading this most recently published series again.

Mispronunciation/different pronunciation of names between narrators is annoying - Raven, U’dron

Least favorite so far because the potential has been missed/squandered. Miscommunication/lack of communication is my least favorite tropes and that’s basically what this one is all about. Josie in this book is NOT the Josie of other books. Sadly not getting the story I had anticipated.

Action is ramping up but I’m pausing my read of this book to reread Fourth Wing and Iron Flame in advance of the Onyx Storm release in a couple of weeks. 🥲

Philip Alces can narrate all the books please.

Already a bit uneven on the plot. Westfall is supposed to be so …untouchable and full of disdain and that’s not who is he is so far.

Narrator is lovely, story is not as great as I’d hoped. Lots of tension and very little follow through. I’ll continue to read the series, though.

Bold wallflower heroine, grumpy scarred hero (with Phantom of the Opera vibes, and we know how I feel about Phantom…). Narration is lovely.

Woof, this book is gooooood. Dude with a past and secrets and ironclad control and the woman who gets under his skin. Definitely will read previous books in the series. Getting spicier (2 scenes before 50% and the promise of some toys…).

I’m definitely in love with Philip Alces’ narration. I may have to *gasp* listen to the contemporary romance he’s narrated. 😅

Narration is 💯 and everything I could hope for in an audiobook. Demon’s imaginative curses are even funnier in audio.

Took me a while to get into Carmen Rose’s narration, and now I’m thoroughly enjoying it! Loved her narration in Castles Ever After and initially struggled here, not sure why.

I had forgotten how fast paced and yet thorough this novella was! I love it!!

First book I’ve listened to narrated by Justine Eyre and I like it. :)

Finally we are getting somewhere between Pippa and Cross! Only really took to 60% of the book…
