I think this might be a 5 star bc I’m obsessed with the tension between cliff and Michelle

This has been super slow I’m putting it to the side

I miss when smut was gentle!!! Why do they always have to dirty talk and call the FMC like a cum slut or something lol

Unpopular opinion but thatcher is annoying

This one is darkkkkk so far

This has been so solid

Love the slow burn of waiting until the final night!! Reminds me of serpent and wings of night

Aris always conveniently finds a turtleneck to wear lmao

Raker lowkey just rude as hell

I like this, but IMO the travels for the questral should’ve been shorter and the days more detailed. No need to be like “we walked all day and night” like just make it a week instead of 50 days and then the pacing is good

Aris my girl can we stay out of trouble for like 3 pages

The only problem I’m having w this is that there’s not more!!! I truly think this world/scifi horror has sooo much potential for a longer story. It’s giving cult, alien, all the good shit for fall and I’m so here for it.

I like this! What is Harlan’s secret??

Super upsetting that this is not hitting the way I wanted it to!

The beginning had me hooked, but then came the issues with pacing. Constantly jumping days, and I HATE when characters have off-page interactions because you lose so much chemistry. A switch flipped and Alex was in love with her???

Has booktok led me astray AGAIN? Why is this confusing

Vincent 😭😭😭

Holy plot twist!!!!!!

The tension is actually crazy I’m gonna die

EEEEEEEEK

I have really liked this BUT I need them to stop having sex and get back to the plot

going to put this on pause for a minute so that I can read ACOSF and be fresshhhhh in October :-)

This book can’t decide what it wants to be. Fantasy, romance, strong hits of dark romance, certain chapters feel like a blatant rip of scenes out of other books. Throne of glass, ACOTAR, zodiac academy, fourth wing. It’s irritating because it takes me out of the story sooo quick because my brain is like, “why does this sound so familiar?”

Her being chosen as Alpha is a JOKEEEEE
