So I have finished the first book in the series, Pawn. I really enjoyed it and am now just getting into the second book, Judas. This has been a really good series (Offered as one collection). It is much like Hunger Games, Divergent, etc. If you liked them you should definitely try out Warchild.

This one takes us back to Jonas' home and shows us the life of Gabe's birthmother. Will be interesting to see how this quartet is wrapped up. Really wanting to know what happened to Mattie back in Village after the cliffhanger of The Messenger.

These are fun and fast reads. Love how Jonas and Gabe make a reappearance in this one! Hoping to share these with Charles as a good summer read.

So far this is a quick, enjoyable read. Nothing to do with the first in the collection though.

I've not been making time to read the past few days, but I am enjoying this book so far. The main character is a German and she has "befriended" a Jew in the time of the Nazi concentration camp start up...wanna just curl up on my couch with my honey and really get into this book!

Newest read...I a sucker for a good historical fiction...
