this is a romance

I am reading this so slowly but not out of disinterest. It is wonderful. It is a wonderful experience, and I would for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Every time Obi-Wan and Anakin interact I want to throw myself in the East River.

Reading this at 30 vs 25 is... interesting.

Honestly, I've been trying to read this for like a month and the first person narration is killing me. It is just -- typical YA protagonist narration taken to the extreme. I don't think I have the patience for it.

the only good thing i can say about this is that it makes me want to read a nonfiction book on the subject...

this is so good but man!

Of all the books I read in high school, The Scarlet Letter was my least favorite by leaps and bounds. Twelve years later (oh god) I'm now of the mind that maybe high schoolers just shouldn't have to read Hawthorne! Which is to say, I liked it a LOT more now, and I also really dug (most) of th short stories!

I wish I liked this more :[

slow going now that the semester is really getting intense but this is fun! I do wish there was some kind of glossary or something because a lot of terms are thrown at you and it’s hard to keep track of it all
