Quite interesting seeing Michael Browne’s life experiences

Excellent writing and an intricate storyline, I checked this out of the library and got to chapter 8 before I had to return it. I may have buy it used.

Just starting, finding it quite a good read

As I warm up to storyline, I am liking the main character.

I have just got into this book. Haven’t developed a feel good with the main character yet, but I am warming up. I am reading this on Kindle—my first time using electronic means. I may buy the paperback too.

Found the book a bit slow going in the beginning, but now I finding it quite enjoyable and emotional in a subtle way.

I am about 1/4 through. I finding the characters lacking dimension. Story is important nevertheless.

The story continues to be interesting and offering a picture of life as I am imagining my mother experienced.

I am finding The Bonesetter’s Daughter to be a very good read with an accurate portrayal of the main characters. I say this because, I can remember my mom behaving just as LuLin does in how she belittles her daughter, Ruth. I like Ruth’s character. I am not so fond of her husband Art. I am not sure where all this going now, but I am sure I’ll get there soon.
