Greg is a terrible human being and Fiona should not be in a relationship with him. The entire book is like a manual of signs to watch out for before asking for divorce. He is toxic and terrible and yet it all just gets hand waved because the sex is good. There are too many women who do this in real life, we don't need books telling us to do it, too. I hope she leaves him, but I doubt she will at this point.
