Gail is reading The Cyrus Mandate (The Elijah Chronicles #3)
Excellent read, and immediately started the fourth in the series. It was very educational as the main character has dreams or visions that take him to important dates in Israel's history to show connections and relevance to more recent news.

Loved this book! A woman who was not only ahead of her time, but defied English society that said women should be pretty, but intelligent conversation intimidated men. She became active in changing society, addressing one concern after another. She is a role model of a strong and effective woman, or even person.

Gail is finished with Tell it All A Woman's Life in Polygamy
Why read a book about a system, polygamy, that is no longer in use? While some claim that there are Mormons today who still practice it,the more important question is "Can people who live this way truly be happy?" And what if they have always believed this is right, can they ever accept or get used to it? " With the move to adopt Sharia law in European countries and American communities, this must be addressed.

Loving this already! It is 14 out of 15 of the A. D. Chronicles, or 2 out of 3 of the Jerusalem Chronicles.

As always, Bodie Thoene's insights are amazing. This is #13 in the AD Chronicles, which will culminate, with #15, Behold The Man. I hope to be reading the final book at Easter time.

This is so much more than a simple story of the author's experiences as he searches for truth. For one thing, he explains key differences in the reasoning process of the Eastern and Western cultures. Not an armchair read. This is clearly on my "must read" list.

Gail is finished with The Bipolar Experience - One fashion model's war against the stigma of mental illness
KeeNan Jeffries shared her experience being bipolar. She stressed the need of removing the stigma attached to mental illness and the importance of seeking care, following physician's orders, being honest, taking care of oneself. I work with adults with disabilities, and many are bipolar in addition to their cognitive disabilities. This was interesting and helpful.
