EVERYTHING! I feel like the author fooled me on purpose and not in a bad way. He gave me all the clues. I just didn't know how to read them. And I love this feeling.

I'd have never thought this was possible but today I found out a book can go from a 2-2.5/5 stars to a 5 stars book in just a chapter. I base my ratings on many things but overall, it's my appreciation of the book that wins over anything and while I had my issues with the pacing of the story and think that making it a little shorter would have made some things easier to understand, that ending changed everything.

Getting annoyed with the main character. On one side, I can relate to her on may points but on the other side, I hate how self-centered she is and how rude she is to her mother. Yes, her mother is far from perfect but the way Eliza answer to her is getting on my nerves. A lot of the times, it's not justified in my opinion.

I hated the fanfictions parts of Fangirl so I expected to hate this book but after hearing so many great things about it, I decided to pick it up and I'm so glad I did because I'm REALLY enjoying it.

Of course she's considering bearing his children. I mean. They have been together for like 10 WHOLE seconds so it make senses.
Now I get that this is fantasy, I get that because of his position, they'd have to have this whole ''offspring'' discussion soon enough, and I guess that I'm also supposed to believe that it's legitimate that she's thinking about it because they're ''mates''. But still. 10 SECONDS.

Wait. He's actually going to call her ''mate''?? Seriously?? I guess I finally found the fantasy equivalent of baby when it comes to cheesy nicknames.

Nice. The whole ''mate'' thing. ONCE AGAIN. So cheesy AF and annoying.

I think it's sad that while I use to love both girls I would now enjoy Sarah J Maas's both series if the main character of each series would disappear...

Get over yourself already...

I've come to realize that my favorie thing in Sarah J. Maas's books is when 2-3 max characters interact. But every time more than 3 characters are interacting, I get lost and my interest in the book drop.

So Feyre is Celaena now. She's not ''like'' or ''similar'' to Celaena. She became her somehow. They put Celaena's personality in Feyre's body. And it looks like they did the same thing with many other characters. There are so many patterns in S.J.M.'s books. I can barely tell the difference between her books and characters anymore.

Damn right they do. We're all humans after all. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't face consequences for our actions and even if he was young and his actions that day doesn't reflect the kind of person he actually is, he still set a house on fire!

for her mistakes. The way Mary is speaking you would think that Paul is the the most guilty of the two (between him and Annie). Yes he persued her when he knew she was married. But still, Annie is the only one to blame for giving in.

Okay. Sure. Paul is a very flawed guy. Did and said a lot of questionable things. Okay. Enough beating around the bush. He's an ass. But in the end Annie made the decision to stop fighting her ''own nature''. SHE made the decision to cheat on her husband. Paul is not to blame 1/2

What happene to Olivia when she was young was AWFULL but I really don't like how the author is handling the situation and Olivia's brother role in what happened and after it happened. He was also a victim in a way.

Only a couple of pages left and most of the revelations are so...convenient. It's like characters says specific things just to get the other to ask even more questions so that WE the readers get infos. Or characters conveniently leave the room so people find evidences....

Sure. Showing a rape video to a young girl (child or teen, can't remember) to get her to realize someone she likes is a bad person seems like such a great idea.
I mean. I understand that she's trying to find her daughter who might be in danger and that girl has infos that could probably help but c'mon. Her parents aren't even with the girl! She's all by herself! This is wrong on so many levels.

She may be years older, married, about to adopt a baby girl but she still act and think like a child. Her immaturitu was one thing as a teenager but now that she's an adult, this is really getting on my nerves. I would almost say that this is kind of ruining the book for me.

I may or may not have ordered 6 Chamberlain books this past weeks for Christmas...(*ﾟｰﾟ)ゞ

It's weird because Aelin and Rowan are the kind of couple I always ship in books. I usually love the kind of a relationship they have. But for some reasons, when it comes to these two, I found every moment they share together cheesy AF. And don't get me started on chapter 68. A whole new level of cheesy.
Honestly, Dorian and Manon, individually and together, are the only reason I haven't gave up on this series.

This book after 300 pages: 2/5.
This book right now: 1/5 and I'm being generous since we can't give 0 on goodreads...

It was even easier to convince her that he son is defintively alive than it was to convince her she's necessary innocent and didn't kill me. This is getting more and more ridiculous. Yes, there are evidences that are more than enough to start having doubts that she might be innocent and that he son might be alive but there is no way it makes sense for her to be now 100% sure she's innocent and that he's alive.

All it takes is a little ''I know you better than some doctor'' speech by her father to make her completly be sure that she's actually innocent and didn't hurt her son?
