cannot find the right words for my review for the book i just finished, off the trail by elle waters.

i actually loved it so much, like 4.5 stars.
it wasn't like profoundly deep, even with deep themes.
it was low-angst and cozy and well-written


and then my mind races with too many things to say and then... nothing.

i thinkkk this is gonna be 5 stars.
and a book i'll honestly probably read again.

as heavy as the story could be bc of the problems the mcs have, is as light and fluffy as they are when together.
and they spend so much time together on page, it's incredibly satisfying.
please have a stereotypical, cliche, cheesy, HEA. pleasepleaseplease.

it's so hard to explain what this book is like.
that MCs still barely talk to each other, but i kinda knew that going in as i believe it was warned on the arc page.
and yet, i still like it...
i'm at 3.5 rn, (which isn't a bad thing!) but bc i just... enjoy it, it'll prob be rounded to 4.

i have a feeling i'm gonna get rambly (in lwk a goodish way) during my review while trying to explain lol.

okay, i started for real this time.

what i can say so far is that the writing seems good and the main character, Giancarlo, REALLY loves the paining Poppy #5.

i'm excited to read Fit for a King, fall into the comfort of their writing with a brand new couple.
(i promise to only think of logan & tate once ever ten pages).

we have about a month until this one comes out officially.
i'll probably read this in between others... lets say maybe over the next five days?
that seems reasonable for me to still be able to read wtv i want and still get this done in a good amount of time.
