finished.

sorry, i jumped off in the middle that took me longer than intended.

SYK Event Freebies - Group Link

several sapphic, one trans, one mx (nonbinary), and a few more why choose on top of MM are included for those interested.

some of them were on the freebie lists the past two days, but not all.

enjoy!!

today is another stuff your kindle event.

i'm pretty sure i added a lot of these to freebies yesterday, but i'll still make a separate post for them as I have been for events just in case.

i'll make another status update with the link when i'm done. 💖

i glanced at a review on ig and the person said that the first half was strong and the second half was basically a different couple... so annoying. i absolutely notice this stuff too.

this is why i shouldn't look at reviews before i read, it's all i'm gonna be looking for now. 😖

okay, technically there's two detailed sex scenes by this point but i ended up skimming through most of the second one.

idk if it's her writing or what but it was genuinely giving me the ick.

the rest has been a super cute holiday story, so i'm good without the smut tbh. and if/when i reread, i will most likely skip the actual sex parts lol

this has started out so cute.
i have hope. 🤩

hiiiii.
so sorry i haven't updated in a couple days.

i should be able to get to the group today for sure, though.
not ready to start yet - still not feeling well but i will within a couple hours.
💖💖

about to post the arcs for some exciting books in the groupppp - vicious little game, alexithymia, puck around and find out
Check in about 20-30 mins

for those that aren't a part of my freebie, sales, and arcs group please send a request: freebies group
i've expanded to MF & FF, also!

let your gr friends know? they do have to friend me to join tho pls!
<33

omg all of a sudden i hate it and wanna dnf???
i really liked the beginning, i’m so confused by this development.
i feel like the problem has to be me.

🥳 omgg sooooo happy we finally have the ability to give .25 | .5 | .75 ! 🥳

ig i'll go back through old ratings and fix?
i'd be interested in seeing my new review average after

i say this as if i'm not already updating old reviews & running a group that requires constant updating (almost) alone
where i'm supposed to get infinite amount of time to do all this - i'm not sure.

pretty sure i like this better than the first so far.
time to finally sleep tho - it’s almost 5am, oops 😬😇

been sitting in my ku downloads for some reason, thought i’d just finish 1 & 2 while reading my current arc.

at 54% - still have like 169 pgs to go.

i want to finish because i want to know what ends up happening.
i hesitate only bc i already know this will never get 5 stars. the choices that continue to be made by the characters pmo too much - truett most
as does the reason they feel obligated to do what they're choosing - ezra more

i like both characters, is the thing, which is why i think it pmo so much

ahh idk

i might have to dnf

i'll most likely try again, i do like it in a lot of ways but the main conflict is just bothering me so bad rn.
gonna push to 50% and make my decision.

i think i'm gonna like it - i have so far.

the one thing i didn't notice when glancing at reviews (i don't like spoilers) is what the smut is like.
after two fade-to-black's in a row, i hope it's at the very least on page. 😅

while this story is cute(ish) and i kinda have a feeling i'll end up liking it by the end we're already almost at 40% and the mc's have only had a handful of interactions with each other...

does anyone keep getting errors on the gr desktop website?

i'm adding stuff to the group and have been editing and saving a lot, sure, but that has never affected anything before - only when i actually comment too many times in a row.

so i was wondering if anyone else keeps getting errors?

i'm trying very hard not to lose anything and if it's a widespread issue i might pause for a little so i don't.

i know this is another "closed-door" book (no spice).
i didn't realize that when i requested it.

hopefully the story is good enough to make up for that, we all know smutttttyyyy is how i prefer my stories but a good plot can make up for lack of spice fs.

with the rating being fairly low for an unpubunlished arc, i didn't know what to expect going in.

this is also one of the arcs i've had sitting the longest - only cause of due date.

i've been pleasantly surprised so far. it's not a five star read or anything, but it's been enjoyable and i like one of the mcs a lot.

my goal is to try and get on and update everything tomorrow (today for a lot of you. basically sep 30).

sorry about today,
it's been extremely rough.

for those that check the group for daily updates:

posting may continue to be slow over the next couple days.
have not been feeling the greatest again - recovery has been annoyingly, painfully slow.

sorry for the spam of (not current) reviews.

cross-posting some of them to other places (amazon, storgraph, bookbub, etc) and am giving the ones i can edits. 😅

i have to be honest - i basically dnf'd this arc.
and then i literally couldn't stop thinking about it... still can't.
i can't even get a page into my next arc.

and it's not that my original problem went away, it's that i literally don't gaf - the smut

it hits early & is hott asf. asffff
makes it 4 stars automatically (when it was originally a dnf)

i'm gonna start w/ book 1 eventually to see if that helps.

https://bibooksforever.com/

another free book event - this one in honor of bi visibility.
25th - 27th

i will do what i did last time and post every single book with it's gr link in the group, it'll just take a little bit of time.

i'll easily finish this today (barring any emergencies).

my review will prob be short.
i like the characters...the writing not so much (it'll probably be a version of exactly this lol).
if it's an arc copy, i try to keep my reviews as "professional", or maybe respectful is a better word, as i can while also staying as true to myself as possible.
it's been a delicate balance i'm still learning lol.

okay, i'm buckling in for the night and not stopping until i finish.
or at least, not sleeping until i finish.
no more updates until full review. i'm determined.

only at 62%, but i know the end is gonna fly by and that's why i've been avoiding it. ): ):
i don't want it to be over.
at least i know something is coming next, ig.

there's so much smut in this. 😮‍💨🫠
i love it.
this is definitely a treat, especially compared to other books i've been reading recently (erotica excluded lol).

some scenes are longer than others, obv.

all those in the Group group:
the spicy blast list is completely updated and split into pairings (there's even 4 FF!)
i pulled out the ones I could tell were ai.

Spicybook Blast Freebies Group Link

will be sharing in my group also but not everyone is in there.
(i've been adding MF to the group, so let me know if you'll be interested now).

https://spicybookblast.com/

should be filled with freebies of all pairings.
it came from an author's newsletter.
