It’s took so long just for us to get back to derry 😭 I’m hoping I can fly through the rest of the book now

100 pages in and I’m LOVING it. So fast-paced, I feel like I’m flying through the pages. The writing style is interesting, but it works. Also, I cannot STAND real Mommy 😭. Potential 5-star read??

Almost halfway through and I have zero complaints. I’ve loved every second of this. The short chapters make it impossible to put down.

Off to an absolutely unhinged start. Page 10 and I’m already making theories. This is honestly giving Jigsaw but with kidnapped kids. 😭 I’m hooked already.

I’m actually enjoying this more than I expected. I was nervous going in because I didn’t like A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, but so far this one has been a solid average read. I still don’t think mysteries are really my genre, though. I tend to prefer books where the action is constantly unfolding rather than slowly piecing together clues.

I’m confused but it’s very fast paced.

Well… I wasn’t expecting THAT. 😭 Halfway through, and let’s just say my opinion on certain characters has changed… dramatically. I went from feeling bad for these characters to questioning everything. I need to know how this ends now. 👀📖

Started off a little slow for me, but now we’re getting somewhere. 👀 Things really started picking up once we switched to the husband’s POV, and now I have questions. 😂 Definitely interested to see where this is going.

Okay… this book has me hooked. 😂 Officially over halfway through, and it just keeps getting better. I’m definitely invested now and can’t stop turning the pages to see what happens next.

So far… I’m REALLY enjoying this. 🚀 We jump straight into the story, and I’m already hooked. I was nervous because sci-fi isn’t usually my genre, but this book explains everything in such an easy-to-follow way that I never feel lost. I also wasn’t expecting it to be this funny. 😂 The environment itself creates so much tension that I haven’t been bored for a second. Hoping it keeps this momentum!

I would definitely say that these last 80 pages are the only ones that genuinely interested me enough to want to keep turning the page.

I think my biggest issue is that this wasn’t the book I thought I was picking up. I went in expecting a suspenseful, high-momentum speculative thriller (something closer to Kindred in terms of urgency), but this feels much more atmosphere and vibes than constant tension. It’s not bad, it’s just very different from what I was expecting.

Well… we might finally be getting somewhere. 😂 Something actually happened that’s making me want to keep turning the pages. My biggest complaint has been the lack of consistent momentum, so I’m really hoping the last 80-ish pages keep this pace instead of slowing down again. 🤞

I was expecting a lot more based on all the hype, but so far it just feels-regular. Like throwing on a random Netflix movie in the background while you’re folding laundry. It’s not bad, but it’s not particularly good either.
