Tying up loose ends - This is the book that sat in the door of my car to read at red lights. When I gave up that habit, I also gave up reading this book, apparently. It’s about time I just finished it.

K loves this one - I appreciate how it includes the prophets and lots of stories that aren’t typical in a storybook Bible. It also alludes to Jesus in light of the storyline of the whole Bible, not just in a simplistic overt way like the Jesus Storybook Bible days.

Reading this book feels like sitting on the couch being gently, but firmly (and shockingly precisely) corrected in my parenting by my closest friend.

Only day 3 and we’re already behind 😬
