Very interesting New book. Never thought I'd find myself reading a vampire romance--and liking it! Human sacrifice, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!

Reading it again. Like an old friend, I must revisit this book often. It's like comfort food for the mind, plus a never-ending lesson if excellent writing.

Gennifer Choldenko is amazing.

I was really enjoying this, but may drop it. Author just employed a plot device, (spoiler alert)that I really hate. An undercover operation. So stupid and risky and unnecessary. Can't suspend disbelief enough. May skip to after all the undercover drama is over.

A terrific self-improvement book.

I'm only on chapter 11 of 76, and I remember why I set this book down the first time I tried to read it. After nearly seven hours of audio, it is just drudgery. Don't think I can make it to the end. Martin is a genius, but I'm tired of Thrones.

I'm giving up. I wanted to like this book, which people much smarter than I am have applauded. But I just couldn't care for the characters. I'm finished. Life's too sort.
