probably the most annotated book i own.

i haven't thought "just one more chapter" for ages before this

prav and zaheen gifted me this for my birthday. prav's read it before and said it was the most me book ever. it's set in london, yes. they said something along the lines of how it's a story of a woman trying to get out? but it's relatable to me in eerie ways that prav has no way of knowing about, which is freaking me out quite a lot. they also revealed to me that it was the last copy at the shop...

reading because of stupid taymur

so funny that i have on my nightstand this, barthes, city of sin and splendour, and memento mori. i enjoy variety. friend's flatmate drunkenly lent this to me!! my old best friend said i would love it, my sisters say i will hate it. we must find out. enjoying so far

trying to do this one book at a time thing let's see how it goes

no thot head empty mayb it isnt a good idea to tackle theory in pdf form but if i stopped doing that what would my degree be

idk why miss sara thought this was an easy breezy read. i am too uninterested in what these people do with their lives. the man is also very unlikeable, the way most men happen to be.

a thought about poetry collections i might have shared before:
whenever you read a really lovely poem and you want more from where that comes and you pick up the collection, you realise that only about 3 or 4 are as good as the first one you read.
it's very common with poetry and short story collections as my friend tayyab(?) pointed it out.
siken has never disappointed me though

every character in this book is insufferable
