the imagery in this book is fantastic. very descriptive and immersive

so far so good. i’m interested in learning more about each character’s background, if they ever do mention it. Stebbins is mysterious, i wonder what he’s like…

the long walk is really good so far. i like that we’re jumping straight into the long walk.

i’m also already feeling nervous for the boys. just finished chapter 1 and no one has gotten their ticket…yet

so far, pretty weird but i like it😶‍🌫️

i find it interesting that the the MC is contemplating keeping his furniture for when he becomes human again, or to remove it to create a space that serves his current being… with all our life changes sometimes it’s hard to move past what we already know and are comfortable with. i wonder if the MC will learn to accept his current circumstance or become caught up in what he’s missing

i just started the audiobook for The Metamorphosis and i am loooving it! i didn’t think i would like listening to a book, but this is really nice (thanks max :P). i really like the authors story building and how detailed yet quick this book is. the person narrating the book is doing great with the voices lol. i can’t wait to see how the story continues…

i really like the authors writing in this book. the themes of religion and class are very strong and i’m only 17 pages in… i’ve been thinking about some of these things myself so the main character is really resonating with me rn,, this is already feeling like a 5⭐️ book
