It’s been slow going on this one because there’s been a lot going on and I haven’t really had time to sit and read. But now I’m only just getting to chapter 3, and I can’t stop crying.

What ABOSAS lacked in emotional depth, SOTR is already making up for in spades. I’m hopeful for the rest of this book.

Next book I'm teaching for 5th grade summer reading. This is a fairly new book (2006) so I'm not surprised I hadn't read it. But I definitely need to read it before next week! Can't teach it if I haven't read it myself!
