Section 1 includes three fundamental types of preaching which are topical, textual, and expository. It is chalked with enough examples that you get a good feel or understanding of each.

The book of basic bible interpretation gives several good examples of how to study, interpret, and apply scripture. Overall I give it a 4/5 for a Christian library book to have.

A.w. Tozer does not disappoint in any of his books that I have read. So far out of three books each challenges and motivates you to get into a deeper relationship with the Lord. And I too want to reap 100 fold. The biggest problem is self-will and wanting to do things your own way. That isn’t the crucified life, though if those things are in your heart; then you will struggle with this book.

This book is astounding and helps in my walk with the Lord. It brings to focus what the purpose of man is, and describes what it is not.
