It might just be my commitment issues talking, but I always lose momentum when the MCs get together and there are still pages left. Without the angst and yearning, it starts to feel boring to me

I’ve always found myself struggling to start a new book because of all the world building i have to get through to get to the juiciest parts, and this book is CLEARLY taking its time to describe every single detail of the places she goes through and its A LOT

i hope all of this is worth it because I’m getting impatient

i started reading at the middle of it and i don’t k ow what the fuck am i reading

I've read 3 books consecutively for the past week and I've been wanting to read more just to escape reality. This book is my first hurdle as I can't seem to feel any attachment to the FMCs of Lauren Asher's books (this is the 2nd book of hers that I've attempted to read) and I've even picked the book with the plot I'm most intrigued in from this series.

Here's to hoping I finish this

The only thing that's keeping me from dnf-ing this book because of it's infuriating mc is my 2023 book challenge

This is such a weird book, they went from fighting to fucking to a marriage proposal and her saying no and them reconciling hahhahahahahhaha this is bullshit at this point

Now, they're suddenly having sex. What the actual fuck is this

Persephone is getting on my nerves to the point that I'm tempted to stop reading this book. She's such a fucking idiot
