Im waiting for Adonis to stab Persephone in the back. I feel like she is uber naive. It’s almost painful watching her stumble through this adventure.

This book is so good that I had to tell someone. And just 33%

So far, she overuses sunshine and grumpy as descriptors for our couple. The girl is sunny and he wants her sunshine and rinse and repeat. He’s grumpy and a grump.

Love the characters still. Going to finish it but she’s hammering the trope hard

“Helen beams at me” I love this series but this verb, beam, is repeated 42 times. Literally. 42 times someone beams, is beaming, at someone else. It’s ceased to have meaning at this point.

But it is a cute story and damn the author is good at creating unique voices for every character with speech patterns and word choices that are different amongst the characters. Love it

I normally don’t remark on books as I read but the suspense is killing me. Road trip to betrayal! Literally. Argh. I’m loving it so far. The characters and plot are great. But get to the betrayal already!

I’ve read the first two books and they are pretty annoying. The first one is good.

The second one omits any mention of Olivia from Book One. She lives with aaric but she’s not there in the middle of the night and not part of dealing with the latest issue? It was so weird that it makes me not want to keep reading. It was just poor world building. Also Francis had like one scene. Weird.

I think I’m going to DNF this one. So annoying. I hate the characters and the nonsensical way the woman avoids attachment to the man. It’s just silly.
