I started this book yesterday, and it has a sensitive topic to it. At first, some parts were a bit confusing because of the accent. However, I'm looking forward to the unfinished parts in the book.

Finch and Violet wandered within their hometown, Indiana, for a Geography project, getting to know more about each other. With Finch, Violet found the meaning of life and tried to overcome PTSD; Finch helped Violet to have the courage to ride on a car after the death of her sister in an accident which caused PTSD. With Violet, Finch could be himself—the weird kid—not afraid of being judged by anybody.

Violet is a girl who suffers from PTSD because of a car crash accident with her older sister while Finch is a boy who loves to think of ideas on suicide. After Finch saved Violet from suiciding when they meet on top of their school’s bell tower, both having the idea to jump, he found a way to contact Violet. Now, he’s trying to help Violet overcome PTSD.

This book starts with introducing Virgil Salinas, Kaori Tanaka, Kaori's little sister Gen, and Valencia Somerset. In the middle of this book, Virgil's backpack was thrown into a well in the woods by Chet a bully where Kaori, a self-called psychic, lives when he, a client of Kaori, was on the road to Kaori's house. Now, Kaori, another client called Valencia Somerset, and Gen is on the road of finding Virgil.

The group of friends Frost made always included four people. It never changed until Rose, a new student, came and tried to fit in. Frost was used to chatting and joking with his tribe all the time, so he felt uncomfortable with Rose fitting in, but he never expressed it aloud. When Rose sat with them, Frost never complained. Instead, he let Rose sit with them. This shows that Frost is a respectful character.

This is my first time reading a book that's all poem. The Crossover is about a boy, Josh, and his love for basketball. In this book, it shows different scenes of Josh playing and scenes of him playing with his family. Reading a poem book was sort of confusing for me at first, but then I got used to it and started to treat it as a regular book.
