Finished the scene at Nettle with Pierce and his family. Oh WOWWW

Glad we're finally getting a glimpse into Pierce and Islington's pasts in Stonecrop! All of this is just cementing my certainty that I'm dying to know more about Hawkes. I think he's my favorite character and I also think he's Emma's endgame.

I don't want this to be over.

Actually in TEARS at the tea with Aunt Eugenia, Hawkes, and Islington. I was on campus covering my face and giggling like a madwoman.

I'm due for a solid nonfiction read, if only to delay the end of the Emma Lion series. I'll try and stretch out the inevitable :(

Emma's grief is explored so deeply here; this series, though light-hearted, certainly doesn't shy away from these moments.

actually HATE LUCY SO MUCH can we stop entertaining horrible people and go back to public shaming them.

Haven't read and loved a contemporary romance in a HOT minute but I was hoping this one might appeal to me. However I already think it feels so drag-y/trope-y in the banter and writing. Maybe it's because I'm listening to it as an audiobook?
