I am giving up on this one. It’s too much names and dates history for me. I learned much more about the Irish struggle for independence. Perhaps if my ancestry was Irish.

Think I’m just going to abandon this one. Not great!

So am restarting this time. Love this series but this one is a struggle!

I wasn’t going to do another 18 hour audiobook, but this one is worth it! Story of the leper colony on Molokai Island in Hawaii through the eyes of a 7 year old girl who was sent there away from family. Lots of both laughter and tears and I’m only half done!

Most of this story is cementing on all the deadly fauna and flora. Lost interest. Abandoning this one

We’ll … it’s very long (902 pages)! Way too many flashbacks, but I’ve been following the Fraser’s for 25 years so will keep on slogging

This is an 18 hour audiobook, but the narrator is sooooooo good! I love the story

Good God. I cannot make it past page 3. The author's overuse of description, most done with a thesaurus at hand, is tedious and laughable. Those interested in twelve dollar words at the expense of the narrative, please enjoy. "Wondered penumbra" blah!
