At the bar listening to oasis realizing that I don’t know if I am emotionally stable enough to read something this intense

(Slowly becoming my favorite book)

Referenced (and read kind of like) Playboy of the Western World which felt niche and satisfying

I think this would’ve been a good one for me to read my senior year of high school (having a spiritual and religious breakdown in tandem with Franny Glass)

Prepped for this by killing half a bottle of wine and queuing Billy Strings

Have been reading for some time now
