An epic, carefully-researched, story. I really liked the book and even if there were a few bits that maybe went a bit too far into the "overly-awed"/cheesy department for me, it did convey the beauty and intelligence that permeates our world. The scope and perspective remind us we are small players here. I'm a sucker for trees and epics, so thank you to Powers for writing this book!
