Just two chapters in and I am not feeling so good. This is really sickening, and I am loving it.

Continuing with one of my 2025 challenges: reading one of these Disney What-if series per month. And this one is giving the "What the heck is going on" sound.

Feels so nice to remember why this is one of my favorites ever.

I understand zero things of this. :)

Finished part one and I feel kind of bored. The only characters that have completely stolen my soul are Kaladin and Shallan. And the fact that Kaladin is not appearing as much as I would like to and Shallan has been turned into a magical Sherlock Holmes, made me feel like I was not making any progress while reading it.

Dalinar is a good character for me, but just that.

A lot has happened. But here goes my fav moments:

Ed and Al learning why alchemy is not that good because of Nina
Scar intro is so cool and sad. Mustan being called useless is quite something
Armstrong looking after Ed and Al. I think this character is quite special. He is so sensible and strong at the same time.
Of course, Ed and Al learning the truth of the philosopher stone is a setting point. This authors good.

The way that this story is introduced is just perfection. Straight to the point we get to know our Ed and Al's main goal, but the twist that Rose gives to the story is just painful. Her character just represents so much the way people get to be toyed by those who have power.

I also love the introduction to alchemy. Ed being so nerdy about it while "explaining" it to Rose, while Al has more patience.

I have been thinking since I read the first chapter what it is that this book reminds me of, and now I have the answer : Wall-E. How could i not see it.? It has the vibes of the intro of the movie.

I am going to give my all for kaladin

Kaladin and Shallan's interactions are the best. I love this.

Ugliano. How dare I forget about him?? XDDDDDDDD

Uufff this book is getting so good. I am truly obsessed. It has all the elements that I loved from Warbreaker. <3
