okay so. what am I reading? hello tapeworms? I came across the audiobook randomly on my library app and could not have been less prepared. and whoa. tapeworms in 2027 as a cure all WHAT IS HAPPENING

Wow. This audiobook resonates with my soul. Deeply true to my lived experience. Yikes. But reality. So appreciative of this truth. Thank you, Kate Bowler.

I didn’t mean to start reading this and now i can’t stop. It’s delightful. “And apparently, whenever Luca walked toward me, the world moved in slow-motion. He pushed the beanie out of his eyes with glacial speed. By the time he finally reached me, we had already dated, married, and sent our two daughters off to college tearfully.”

“Because how many times can one life be split into a before and an after?”

I want to remember this quote forever.

Silly me. The spoilery twist i mentioned in my last update that threw me off was in the description of the book!! Haha! Clearly i went into this without knowing anything about it. :-)

Well, i was kind of looking forward to the nuances of the sister relationship but spoiler twist changed that. Still fun read just resetting my expectations now!

This book is SO FUN. Loving it.

I'm so tired but I can't. stop. reading!

I am slow-reading this on purpose. It's like my safety net: a book I'm sure to love and characters I don't want to leave. So I'm dragging it out because I can. That's what I do with books I don't want to ever end.
