So far the workbook is a bit reparative. I use the actual book to help but I need more scriptural interpretation because so many Old Testament references and cultural aspects are lost on me.

Ok, they have found/rescued one of the handcart companies. And I still have 5 CDs left --what in the world 300 pages to rescue the other company --how long can he drag this out?

F is loving it. Its fun and C even listens in sometimes. Too bad it will be put on pause to complete the mom-daughter book club book.

This is a book I have been able to put down. It isn't dry or dull. It's one of those I like reading it once I start, but when I try to go back to it I think, "It's not that interesting"

I am listening to it, so I can't say what page I am on. But I can honestly say I am not impressed with Gerald Lund's writing style. He's textbook dry. And he tries to deal with way too many characters. If this weren't about my own cultural history I would have ejected the CD long ago. I hope this gets better. Five discs (of 18) and we are barely to Iowa City.
