Should I also dnf this (is on multiple best book lists but all they’ve talked about so far is a college scandal and also this man’s affair with a younger woman)

Vote in the comments down below- should I dnf this (I hate it) or see how much worse it gets (a psychiatrist married his teenage patient. They are the main characters. Everyone thinks it’s fine)

No one is sadder than I am about the fact that I’m not enjoying this

I’m hating this so far :) this is more “woe is me a journalist committed to truth” book than a book about the people uh actually murdered

The chapter between 103-107 is some of the best writing I’ve ever read

I have barely skimmed the surface of this book and I have already unlocked so many new fears. Felt much more sure nuclear annihilation wasn’t imminent before I started. Anyway I’m loving it hehe
