Wow.

Decided to stop reading Little Women for now, as it felt like a saccharine distraction from other more meaningful works I’d rather read. I was moved, but it felt like in the wrong direction y’all.

Haven’t been feeling well as a certain monthly visitor makes its dreaded return; I’ve now fallen behind on my reading. Still, I am rather enjoying this book so far - I’ve already cried once at the part with Beth and Mr. Laurence and the piano.

What’s the difference between following someone on here and, friending them?

Currently listening to the audiobook for free through Audible and Prime, ultimately.

It started off slow and a little too chipper and “Mother” for my taste, but a few chapters in and I find myself beginning to care about these characters.

Of course, I feel I am most like Jo, and am most attentive when she is mentioned.

I’ve never read it or see any of the movies before, though I do know some major spoilers.

Completely did away with my old profile for the sake of starting anew. I definitely underestimated how much work it would be filling in my past “Read” materials.

Also, I have no friends. :( Hello out there, it is lonely!

I found myself wishing that the book was longer, but I believe the author’s focus in her series is only to provide an introduction on the topics. In that, the book is successful. It is to the point and informative.
