This was exactly how I was raised and in turn how I raised my kids. It also suggests that as we’ve moved from risky play to safe play and keep your babies in some form of containers we are increasing the sensory processing epidemic by not giving our kids opportunities to spin, play, and experience the world.

I need to read this book regularly until I’m able to live this advice.
