i'm excited because haley cass is definitely my favorite author for sapphic romance, but i'm scared for throwing out school responsibilities for this in the coming weeks 🙏

i'm enjoying the doomed lesbians arc: dealing with someone who's scared of vulnerability, the dance and yearning around it

got me back to listen to classical music, love it! with the witty banters, i laughed a lot so far

the second half of the book feels anti-climatic. i love the expansion of magic and related lores in the story. however, i feel like ava and kiena changed too much–the dynamics from the first part is shifted too much. somehow i miss the strong-headed princess.

just finished the first part of the book and it was insane... half way in and you just realized the real plot has JUST started and MORE PEOPLE DYING.... 😭 also i just realized zoe reed writes romance very elegantly. sometimes it feels rushed in the beginning, but it will slow down and you'll get to fall in love with them as they explore the world they're set in.

when a character died and you just realized that the characters have held your heart, well done zoe reed 🌤 LOVEE the high fantasy setting

this book holds my heart and has been my source of joy for the past weeks, but i swear if someone else dies i'll CRY
