This is really an outstanding book for those who seek the history not only of Harriet Tubman, but the cause she supported throughout her life.

At the 20% mark this is an interesting history of the woman's movement in the Methodist community of the mid to late 19th Century. So far I like the way she is leading us in the evolution of Katherine Bushnell's growth. The realization that missionaries purposefully mistranslated the Philippians 4 passage changing the women to men is really shocking.
