Kate is...annoying. She isn't really a likable MC. BUT Kate has a teenage sister that she fully takes care of when she's just 29 years old herself. She runs the house, she cooks and cleans, she ferries her sister to and fro, she works a job that has nothing to do with what she wants to do. Kate reminds me of me and that makes me insurmountably sad.
