this duology is getting me back into reading and i’m so happy about it. i even recharged my kindle and started reading book 2 on it because i couldn’t find it in the local stores near me. it feels so good <3.

just picked up pace! i think it has a lot of potential tho and i love the world building

i missed reading so much

needed to finally finish this series so i decided to listen to the audiobooks while working on my exams ✨
so i’ll be rereading caraval and legendary, and finally read finale!

this book is annoying. i’m both enjoying it and cringing at many scenes. i think the problem is that the characters seem more like actual teenagers than 23 and 27 years old.

i saw this coming, now i’m mad and kinda disappointed

it’s been a long time since i’ve been this lost in a book. gosh wow

this is me just hypothetically thinking: Brie is the shadow princess and the silver eyed fae is the prince who’s supposed to help her find her sister and reclame the shadow throne. he’s probably prince ronan. if this is true than this book is really disappointing, cause everything’d be obvious and brie would be so dumb

i haven’t read anything about this book, dived completely blind into it. But it seems a whole lot like a Cinderella retelling so far

i knew this was going to be slow at the beginning but it doesn’t even matter because it’s hooking either way. the writing is so good and it’s getting me emotional all the time. i’m ready to give my heart to Kya.

it’s a quite fun read but not even close enough to the original series when it comes to plot and mystery. we barely have leads so far and i don’t think the real investigation even started. the first 3 books are superior compared to this one honestly.

this sequel is a serious masterpiece

i wish i could just not study today and binge read all night cause i am SO in love so far 😭 i’m going through it bit by bit but i CANNOT control my investment here

i seriously don’t understand why people hate Mal? i’m done with book one and read a chunk of book two and i still can’t see it. I actually like him but i don’t ship him with Alina.
(picked up punk 57 to read with it. It’s not really slow, but it’s not fast paced either you know?)
Also i like the darkling and want to see more about him but he can stay away from Alina.

i started this at 2am cause my cousin was reading it beside me, a challenge was proposed and blabla. But i’m honestly obsessed. I kept reading until the sun came up and just woke.

i read the first 80-90 pages when i first started this one, but then got sick and busy with life.
Started again yesterday night and i got really immersed!! can’t wait for some free time so i can continue and finish it 🥺🤞🏼

last time i actually read from this book was over a month ago, it just really disappointed me.. i’m hoping to finish the last 21% some time soon tho, but my expectations are really low
