Reading this book under protest because I forgot my kindle and it was the only book in the airport bookstore that I hadn’t read that wasn’t a Business Book for Very Important Businessmen.

I have never fished, and have no interest in ever doing so; that’s not what this book is about. It’s a lot of things: a heist, a natural history explainer, and a personal exploration into why some people feel the need to destroy and possess natural beauty, rather than just observe it. It’s absolutely fascinating.
