I'm h o w l i n g this guy is fuming about how immoral the queen was for having been a prostitute and bc she went down on people it "didn't happen according to the laws of nature", Prokopios clearly wasn't getting any

This is explicitly 100% out to be a vintage 6th century hit piece against Justinian so I guess the jury's still out on the truth of it but this court drama is Juicy and apparently J hung out with rowdy Roman kids with mullets

this book slamming the middle class for taking to fascism the same way as it does today is really cathartic

Realizing that it will take me an eternity and a half to read a 420 page PDF but it is Good
