This was a great read for inspiration as to what problems QC might one day solve. The very last chapter was a bit of a throw away for me, but the epilogue closed the book nicely.

It might be a book I'd recommend to someone before reading Dancing with Qubits by Robert Sutor.

Quite possibly one of the best books I have read on the human psychology side of cli.ate change.

I really wanted to enjoy this more than I did. It's unique, with a plot structure like a tree, and it's about trees and our relationship to them. Though, it fell flat in the middle and dragged a little while. This is not to say there aren't well-written areas of the book. The chapter where Douglas was introduced was probably the best chapter of any book I have read.

This is a fantastic introduction for anyone looking to understand fascism and what it looks like in our time. It creeps in the language first. The author calls for us to both stay alert and to do something about it when we encounter it.
