I'm still reading, because I'm kinda curious about what exactly is going to happen next, but!
don't get me started on all the similarities it has with acotar! My head hurts from the number of elements that, honestly, feel copied...

Oh how hard the reading process is starting from book 3 where other characters' povs are added😵‍💫

And Aedion is being completely insufferable 🫠

While Manon is not yet the girl I love that much🥲

Their hot-and-cold situation is getting repetitive. I mean, the rationale behind Rikkard's actions is not always well shown. While Lilly's knowledge the " it" between men and women, in my opinion, should've been more clearly defined, because one moment she has no idea what happens and the next she acts and talks as if she knew🤷🏼‍♀️

- I might utilize men ... , I might even 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 them to pay me wages.

Now I picked this book cuz, 1), the Dark in You series is one of my faves, 2), the rating of this series is good enough.
However!
- the sexists...
- long chapters:///
- sometimes feels like the storyteller is also prejudiced(the gay vampire, FL describing her figure)
- the immaturity of the ML is getting on my nerves, so I'm expecting major character development!
- use of the same words on the same page

I don't know... it's so terrifying the way Evangeline has to live with her memories erased. And it's so sad I'm almost ready to cry

Thinking this book is underrated

Picked it out because it didn't seem like the super ordinary romance plot. As far as chapter one goes, it is funny and gripping enough to want to know what's going to happen. Chapter two I liked less, as the new supportive characters are introduced. The motive behind the FL's actions seemed a little unlikely.
