Vastly behind on my book goal for this year because of this several thousand page long series...but I can't stop reading it

Oh my gosh, every sentence is pure misery🫣

The writing is CAPTIVATING I cannot put it down!

The Hunger Games but for mildly politically conscious gym bros... But I do love a good dystopia so I'll keep reading!

DNF, very predictable and flat writing style. Characters are caricatures straight out of an American high school or Hallmark movie lacking any depth or nuance (which, considering the dark subject matters in the book, is very jarring)

I'm almost sad to start the final book of the trilogy, as it means finishing a story with some of the best characters I've ever read 🥹

After a streak of disappointing books this one is healing me ❤️‍🩹
