It’s a cute idea but bringing Covid into it was kinda an ick and then the sexting bc pandemic lockdown was a big ick. The story line isn’t my favorite, it’s more predictable than most rom com books. It has its fair share of LOL moments but so far not my fave

So excited to have another Emily Henry book to read on the beach! So far, it is totally true to Emily Henry’s style- I’ve already laughed out loud and been drawn into the story.

This is a very interesting read so far. A totally different style of writing than I’m used to. Very pragmatic and matter of fact. Somehow the author is able to make every character relatable or at least understandable even the bank robber. The first page basically tells you what you need to know about the style of writing and the plot but it continues to develop and deepen.

Definitely a different and new concept. The whole thing behind it with the letters seems super unrealistic so I’m having a hard time getting past that but I’m also intrigued at why it happens and what will happen next. So far pretty good and easy reading

Ok it got good. I def didn’t read this before but it is VERY similar to another book I’ve read (need to look back and see which book). Anyway it got so good and I was so into it that I lost track of time for about 2 hours… of course I’m at a cliff hanger/ good part and we have to leave for dinner :/

I lowkey think I might have read this book before, it seems super familiar but I also might be confusing it with another book. So far cute story- took a break for like a week and was very confused when I picked it up again but I think I remember now. Not a huge page turner as of now, hoping it gets better soon

Omg so many plot twist. Literally gasping on the beach and people keep looking at me. I didn’t think it could get better and for a hot second I was getting a little bored and didn’t like where the story was heading but then woah it drew me right back in. So good

This is a great book! Definitely not the super easy cutesy beach read I’m used to but so far it is a great albeit gut wrenching story. It’s definitely not a slow burn kinda book, it really goes right into it and has you turning the pages needing to know what comes next from the start. A welcome change from my usual (thought I’m excited for my next rom com)

One beach day, 239 pages later… you could definitely say I’m enjoying this book! It’s a perfect beach read with enough drama and seriousness and romance to keep me fully engaged and turning the pages wanting more

Slow start, at first I didn’t think I could finish it but now it’s pretty good. Just not all that relatable and I’m unfamiliar with most of the references.
