So far this has reminded me of a mash up of if Batman met Dexter and 50 shades of grey (funny enough the MMC is also named Christian in this book) I’m not sure if I like it so far but I need answers so I have to keep reading!

I swear I read this but can’t find it on any of my lists/ book check outs so I’m reading it again!

I was fully invested up u til the dream sequence. I didn’t like the time flashback and felt like it was unnecessary for the story. I get the ancestors and wolf connection the author was going for but I get like I zone out during that part.
I now find myself looking more for the original set of characters as we have moved ahead in time and are getting more of how they are woven into others’ stories.

Finish part two love the connection to the Peahtigo Fire and how that was incorporated in Walter’s story. Ida is intriguing! Loved her origin story and relation to Nix

Loving hearing the WI places I know of! Shout out to Baraboo! So far one of my favorite parts was the story of Sanjay and the horse Grandaddy! Their whole frozen horse bit was delightful!

Sister ran away to try to get money for house… other sister has to save her… game with 9 levels first level a maze weird demon ghost guy thing she makes a deal with and has a crush on… still think there are a lot of words and not much happening!

A lot of words and not much happening… let’s go! Mom’s dead bank is taking the house… heard this before.

This was so good I didn’t want it to end! Reading the finale show felt like I was actually watching it! My only complaint is I want to know their dna match level!

Started, got lost, put on pause bc another book I wanted to listen to became available. Then realized I was expecting The Anomaly by Michael Rutger, totally different book!
