So far, I’m loving it. It gives you the feeling that you’re on a call with a close
friend, simply giving you advice. It’s filling me with the same excitement I felt when I decided I could make writing a career. And I’m not just saying all of this because I “work” for them at the Gatsby House. I’m genuinely so happy and it’s making me curiouser and curiouser!

It gradually gets better and better. I still believe that it feels a bit rushed at times, and this book isn’t usually my cup of tea. But, despite that, it’s very raw and honest. I just finished chapter 5, the way he describes the day where he lost himself in the work..was very gut-wrenching. It makes me want to keep reading to find when he found himself again.

Throughout the majority of it, his writing flows very nicely. The storytelling is raw and interesting. You can truly imagine what it’s like to have to change so much about yourself to be undercover, and also how much he didn’t need to change but found it within. My only complaint: it feels a bit rushed at times, or more so it feels like he’ll jump topics quickly but then revert back to the previous topic.

I’m on chapter 3 and so far I can say this is a good book. It really brings you into the perspective of his life as an Army veteran, the effects and the motions of wanting to change your career.
