Took a year off from reading to put the shattered parts of my life back together. I absolutely adore books, so I haven’t a clue how I did it. Perhaps the devastation of everything I knew, and my obliterated self esteem took away any desire for personal enrichment. With the help of The Almighty, my family and friends I am still broken (always will be) but so very much stronger.

Loved, loved, loved this book! As I have personal ties to autism and aspergers, it opened my eyes to many aspects of child rearing of a child on the spectrum from someone with aspergers himself.

This book was given to me by my dear cousin, Piper. I will give it a read...

Bob read this in school and wondered if I read it. I honestly cannot remember, so he suggested I read it again...so I will. :-)

the more I read, the more I feel like this book is shedding so much light on my youngest child. In some aspects of his development, I haven't completely understood him. This book is like a translator, and has given me amazing insight, and also peaked me to read many other writers on the topic so that I may help him to transition through school...and life.

started off fun as hell, oh how i need a book like this!!

if the only written words I had to depend on were what I read on the internet, I'd stab my eyes out. thank-you Mr Styron, for saving me tonight.
