This story is improving, now that the world is being developed, the cast is expanding and that the protagonist is getting her footing in the world.

Reading Kino's Journey Vol 2, just finished rereading #1 and was inspired to finally read as much of the series as I can. Its beautiful short story sff at its finest.

Reading this and watching the dub at the same time. Its pretty interesting what is changed and what is similar. The biggest is that the book so far only has Youko to focus on, while the anime brings in extra characters from her school. I wonder how that will play out...

And thus concludes Boogiepop Returns: vs. Imaginator Part 1. Its hard to really comment on this book as its a lot of set up for Part 2. Its interesting how much more of this seems to line up with the anime, but feels much more fleshed out and interesting compared to the anime due to knowing what characters are thinking. Hopefully Part 2 continues to be entertaining. #boogiepop #lightnovel

Serene's addition to the cast is really making this enjoyable.

The adventure is moving along briskly and the world is slowly developing, can't wait to see what happens next.

This arc is pretty similar to the anime so far. I like the relationship between Aya and Misaki. Its pretty cute.

Not really enjoying the start, but slowly getting into it. Not a fan of the tsundere male lead.

#lightnovel - Done with the first volume and onto 2! Its interesting how much certain characters were changed compared to the anime.

Its stunning how much of the character's personalities were lost in the transition to the 2019 anime. They are so much more memorable here.
