This is King at his best. The capacity to capture the extent of the human experience and personal perspective is stunning. Add in a creep factor reminiscent of “It” and a fantastic reading by Will Patton, the result is most definitely compulsively readable.

There is a similarity in tone with “fires everywhere” and it is exactly the ability to delve into the human character, to tease out the variables leading to decisions that without context would be judged unfairly, that is so amazing. Literature is in no small part about exploring different perspectives and this delivers.

As a primer for what you need to know to move forward into IT, this is great.

Only one hour in and already a must-read

I was worried the fantastically hilarious irreverence for everything would falter in this second book. My worries have been utterly removed. Can't stop laughing
