Trying to stick with this book but really not enjoying the overt racism, sexism and all out unprofessionalism so far. Nothing in this book correlates to the UK police. Maybe 20-30years ago it could be believable but this Dirty Harry bullshit isn’t how the UK rolls. Really disappointing start to what sounded like a decent plot.

Readable but not great. Main character Maggie I just couldn’t warm to, the selfishness just wound me up. Very silly at parts as well.

You won’t regret giving these books a go.

Really enjoyed this book, hoping the author does more but with different causes of the “end”
