Demyan sucks right now. This was really interesting for a while but it’s getting so repetitive and he keeps getting worse. Then there are more and more frequent inconsistencies that it’s pulling me out of the story.

I’m starting to hate Violet again. Why she the only one to ever know the answer in battle brief? I would hate to be in the same class as her

So far I’m really enjoying it. The dialogue was so cringy in the beginning I was nervous, but all the action has made up for it. They are always doing something, so it’s fun. And Violet isn’t as annoying as she was in Iron Flame. I’m also picking up some hints that make me a bit nervous for what’s to come.

I’m on chapter 5, and I’m not really vibing with these characters and the dialogue is atrocious. So I read some reviews to see if it’s worth my time. So many people say the ending is the worst ever. So now I might keep going just to see how terribly this does end

Fourth Wing wasn’t good but it was fun, so far this book is neither good nor fun. A lot of people say it redeems itself in the second half so I’m pushing through, (but I hate Violet so much).

It’s taken nearly 50 kindle pages to get to the inciting incident.

So far this book is very confusing. It says it’s the first one but there is no world building, and the characters are so similar with little physical descriptions that I can’t always tell who is talking or what’s going on. It’s hard to read

Everyone in this book is awful. Trigger warning (because ai do not remember seeing one for tis) her psycho stepfather kills pets. I don’t want to read it anymore

Ok I’m going to take a break here. This will probably end up being a DNF but idk. I really liked the beginning of this story with them in high school, I kind of wish it would’ve just followed them over the summer and then ended, because the longer this story goes on the weird it gets and I’m growing bored with all the repetition

So far, I’m not loving this. Chapter six was a huge backstory info dump, and now they’re training her how to switch back and forth to fight as a cat and human when she’s literally been doing this her whole life. V disappointed in this sequel

Kinda reads like a Whatpad story the author got tired of writing and just abandoned

I’m on chapter four and so far it feels like a long episode of Gilmore Girls. The MC is walking around a charming town dishing out a lot of witty banter, and meeting townies. It’s not bad writing, it just feels like absolutely nothing was edited out.

I’m very interested in the synopsis of this book but so far it’s been 30 pages of Lyla and Sasha bickering and I hate it. Please let something interesting happen soon or I’m dnf-ing it.

Ugh, everyone has an already complicated name and on top of they all have a nickname. The Hind, The Hawk, The Hound Dog, the Umbris Mortum, The Harpy; I’m listening to it on Audible and it’s so confusing sometimes.
