Alright, so I really like these books, but I will say this - the author is not terribly current on anti-malware tools. There are several ways that a skilled analyst could dissect the malware to learn about it, not to mention behavioral detection superseded antivirus detection by 2020, and malware sandboxes were already in existence - including open source ones.
That said, to the layman, I'm sure its great theater.
