I am so sickened by the actions of the government and law enforcement even though I'm not surprised as we still see these actions today which just makes it more disgusting.

I love how the author has laid out the Facts cause you can see the clear miscommunication that would lead to such a harmful past and why the state would hide the truth for so many years. But also how racism played a big role in how things eventually will work out, because the prisoners representatives were black and were trying to do things the right way, the rumors labelled them rebels and militants even w/o proof

This quarantine has just been me reading books and series that I love and that bring me comfort and now it is octobers dates turn again

Am I re reading this book again. Yes, yes I am. I just need a book right now that I know I love.

I really want to like this but I am not getting engaged I am going to give it a little longer and see how I feel. But might end up dnfing for a while

I keep giggling at the craziness of the characters. They ate so funny

Dnfed, I tried to listen to the audiobook and now the ebook and I am just not connecting with this character probably due to the fact that the main female character sounds so young.

Dnfed with 2hours left on the audiobook. The book feels disjointed, and that it is jumping all over the place. I understand it's a book of firsts but it's hard to follow a story that jumps from topic to topic with no bridging between each experience. Just not the story for me

Once again I am reading this story. I needed something fun since I am reading so many things with assassins and grim reapers.

Really enjoying the humor in this book!
