Definitely a good story, but the sexual stuff is a little weird and the prose can be very mechanical at times (most likely due to the translation).

Very quick reading which is nice and an interesting story as well.

Holy crap, this one gets rly odd past the 2/3 mark.

I am amazed at how sexually explicit these sorts of books are. This was written in 1961 and it’s pretty straight up about stuff. The allure of the pneumatic is definitely timeless lol.

Some sections are miles better / more challenging than others…kinda don’t like the variability. I’m using this primarily as a primer for my goal of reading Russell this summer.

Started reading this on 5/28 bc harry said it was ok.

Didn’t realize this was an anthology…will still read it tho I think
