i haven’t picked up a single book this month, and i think it’s partly because my recent reads have been so underwhelming—it’s really killed my motivation to read. that said, i’m hopeful june will be a much better reading month. i have a long list of books i’m excited about and quite a few pending reviews to get through, so fingers crossed! see y’all next week 💗🥰💖

authors who normalize and romanticize pedophilia or the male character raping the main female character or any other characters under the guise of dark romance are appalling and deserve no good. i hope people start waking up to the fact that these authors are misrepresenting the concept of “dark romance.”
